We represent an introductory course for all third-year students in Russian (and other interested students). It focuses on an introduction to key problems in the discipline of Comparative Literature, its disciplinary history, and its major theoretical and methodological debates (including classical paradigm; Marxist, structuralist, and poststructuralist approaches; world literature; translation; adaptation; DH).
